leethedog 3,071
I've always fed ferrets dry food 1 because less flies in the summer and 2 to my thinking when they kill under they less likely to stay on it for a feed just a little tip 1 Quote Link to post

I have never fed a ferret pellets and havnt lost many in over 35 years. imo there are advantages to feeding a working ferret raw food especially their prey in conjunction with other balanced food. atb Quote Link to post
virge05 40
i agree wit leethedog.. fer donkeys yers ive fed dry food to me ferrets..always fit an healthy an worked proper never ad any problem with their prey drive..if you feed a ferret the same food, be it raw or dry or watever you choose, for the first few months after weanin theres a high probability they will stick to that particular food even if you offer summin else..sort of food imprintin...mine wil av a bit of liver now an then not very often tho but if i offer rabbit up they wont eat it..believe it or not lol.. which i can only see as a good thing..good luck wit yer ferets crazydave ope you an yer lad av sum good outins come winter .
