Underdog 2,337
Started tonight. The itch to make smoke is just to much so I will be having a black powder weekend :-). Just a bunny and squirrel tonight. My camera cell was down so had to use my below average phone! The cap lock is a .45 Kentucky type smooth rifle. U. 2 Quote Link to post
jamesS410 106
Ok, now I'm officially jealous. I've always fancied the idea of a bit of black powder shooting and all the better if its in the form of "euthanising" tree rats Good job on the bunny too, I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and it continues to be as productive above all keep us posted Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
Nothing like the smell of sulphur in the morning, or any time of day I shoot BP out of my old hammer gun a few times a year, usually turns a few heads. Quote Link to post

Yes, great fun. Years ago I would do whole beaters days with a muzzleloader or home loaded black powder cartridges. U. Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
Black Powder is deadly and very accurate in the right hands, it never ceases to amaze me, this was 1000yards at Bisley, and they did the business! 1 Quote Link to post

Underdog 2,337
Continued the BP weekend this morning before lunch with granny and granddaughter. Was delighted with a shot at a crow. Stalking in the shade of chestnuts and wild garlic we found s squirrel. The wild garlic was lovely to smell. On the way home and wanting this gun empty spied a long 30yard squirrel watching us. The 5/8oz load fetched it down to Jess's finishing jaws! This cap lock is cleaned and put away. I fancy a session with flint next. U. 1 Quote Link to post
