gnasher16 30,281
Eye a good game of football for a fitting night turned cringeworthy in truth In truth.......did you think it was for your benefit or something ?....some random northerner watching on the telly. It was for local West Ham fans with West Ham traditions.........we have our own iconic players and our own iconic songs and traditions that are known and respected the world over....what iconic traditions does your club have ? Im no fan of the Cockney Rejects i think its a horrible f****n racket but they go hand in hand with West Ham what should we of had Fun Boy Three singing out a rendition of " It aint what you do its the way that you do it " instead ? We had the immortal Bobby Moore turn the lights out on Upton Park.......who turned the lights out on Roker Park.... Dave Watson ?....or wasnt anyone paying much attention. Before " educating " people its probably better to learn the facts.......with a 34,000 ground sold out every week and a season ticket waiting list of 17 - 20k over the last 4 years what would be so surprising about 52k season tickets being sold straight away....." tourists " dont by season tickets.

Never let facts get in the way of his arguments. I mean he thinks you Hammers fans are jealous of his team's life or death relegation struggles every season. He doesn't realise that you've been there, done that and now have moved onto biting your nails over whether you'll get into Europe or not. For Max's benefit; Europe is the other side of that sea you are always banging on about
gnasher16 30,281
Gay Dave fook knows how you manage to type tied to your gimp chair but I was referencing historically when normal working class Sunderland / Durham folk showed the ICF who was boss when they tried it on back in the day up here. They shit themselfs so much they ran into the North Sea at Roker to get away And our lot were never the type to carry blades and Stanley's ect Honest common men that's all Just at the time with the pits and ship yards still open they were naturally big strong fit honest men No need for performance enhancing drugs Good food and graft Is this more of your " education " ?....some of us were around that scene back then, the same scene that you by your own admission didnt want anything to do with .....so im now going to educate you. I believe the game you are referring to was the 6 nil pasting we got at Roker Park around 1978 ?......ok,the reason this incident was in YOUR local newspapers was because a handful of Sunderland fans were arrested after chasing some West Ham fans back to their coach and a young boy fell and broke his ankle plus a few others had various cuts and bruises. What you fail to say in your claims Max is this was absolutely nothing to do with the Icf......in those days at Sunderland visiting supporters coaches parked up virtually on the beech before the short walk to Roker Park........now im not sure if you actually know what the initials ICF stand for.......but its " Inter City Firm ".........Inter City being the railway company we all travelled on in those days.......Icf NEVER travelled on club coaches......we wasnt allowed to.......thats why we called ourselves the Icf....it started off with the cheap " football specials " when Jimmy Saville got behind the student railway cards in the early 70,s......as time went on the more senior members of the Icf began to travel first class just to be flash as it was about more than just a fight it was about music/fashion everything.....i repeat.....the Icf never travelled on coaches......the fans you say " got chased into the North Sea were a bunch of shirters who to all other terrace lads of the day would of been totally out of bounds as all the big firms of the day knew be that Millwall/Mancs/Forest/Leeds anyone,it just wasnt the done thing.............your big tough pit men beat up a few kids wearing football shirts while the Icf were getting a police escort back to the station like we did wherever we travelled due to our bad reputation......the fun for us was always slipping the police escort and finding a fight but it wasnt always possible........so before you start giving your expert analysis on something you was never around maybe you should make sure the wild statements you come out with dont end up making you and your shitbag rough tough pit men look like a bunch of lowlife cowardly wankers ! gnasher16 30,281
.Go and have a nice sweet cup of tea, that bitter taste in your mouth must be a killer lol Anyway, all you can focus on is trying to slag WHU........why not talk about how immense Noble was?......his work rate was second to none, doing ugly, passing nice, comfortable with the ball......or what about Martial for Man U?......what a player that lad is and will be, a joy to watch.......a new Henry maybe ? What a great game of football......you won't see many better than that IMHO I never get into tactical debates as having never played the game i dont feel my knowledge is up to much......but i thought we just out hustled Utd.....we just wanted it more......i dont think we out played them and at times yes we probably did lump it forward but knowing you are not as good as the other team surely causes for such action occasionally......when we went a goal down i fully expected it to end up an embarrassment but like i say i think we just wanted it more i was so proud of the club from the players to the owners to the tea lady we showed a commitment and will to win that any inferior opponent should strive for. Martial.....fantastic player.... from the moment he received the ball i was looking through my fingers i always say when everybody knows what a sportsman is going to do and he still does it......you know you are watching someone special.

gnasher16 30,281
Well done west ham, as for everyone who threw a bottle, glass, YOU ARE TOTAL SCUM . What a good life you must lead.. Morons. This is not directed just at you bracken boy but theres a lot been said of this incident....and a lot that hasnt been said. Myself and other likeminded pals of mine who ive been going to football with for years were just hanging about chatting in the car park when all this business started......anyone who knows Upton Park will tell you its about 100 yards from the Bobby Moore statue ( where the incident started ) to the gates the players coach go,s through........apart from the fact that everybody knew there was going to be trouble ( so why didnt football intelligence/police ) nobody was surprised at the amount of people and level of " high spirits " for want of a better term......but.....im not going to condone the shit that went on i was disgusted to be honest.....not with the violence or sheer stupidity we,ve all done stupid things......but the fact we was trashing our own manor thats what Millwall do not us.......what nobody seems to of mentioned was that there was probably 50 maybe more guys like myself standing side by side at the gates next to police with riot shields virtually protecting them !!....we didnt want our fans trashing the Boleyn pub or our own police and stewards who we,ve got to know over the years.......im no fan of plod but i dont go in for all that stupid coppers are b*****ds nonsense you say as kids these are lads doing their job who shake our hand and have a natter on a saturday.....but nobody mentions that we are all just scum in the medias eyes because of our reputation from years ago......infact it wouldnt surprise me one bit if the majority of those throwing bottles etc didnt even get in the ground......our ground isnt like these trendy stadiums on the edge of retail parks like the other clubs our ground is in the heart of a busy community......we have a lot of sleeping supporters who only come out for Millwall or a game that theres likely to be trouble and my guess would be they were responsible for the majority of the trouble the other night......we,ve all done stupid things in the past but that doesnt make us all scum now. As I said earlier, I thought it was as good a game of football as you will see anywhere......as I have also said a few times mate, it gos to show that sheer grit and will to win can bring any team down. You have to work to your strengths and I think we did that perfectly.
