BGD 6,436
Max why are you spreading your Sunderland shite over two different threads? This thread is about a true giant of English football's last match at their old home ground Certainly not a giant mate, just a little club that seems to be well respected amongst folk who know football for how we crack on and for providing the backbone to England's greatest ever footballing acheivement. This is all we have said all along in Max's diatribes, we have never said anything moor than that Very true pal, you West Ham lads on here are always very humble about your little club. Now feck off I'm trying to get a bite here
NEWKID 27,160
Well as a UTD fan I was pissed right off we didn't ruin your little shin dig the other night!! But other then a few idiots chucking some bottles (old habits and all that) about sounded like it was a proper send off for all you hammers, so grudgingly I was a little happy (if that makes sense).. Way before this old internet thing I always liked West Ham as a club/team, players like Rio, Joe Cole ( I still think he could've been a great with a little more luck, dedication maybe?), Lampard, Di CAnio etc.. oh and Dicks ! they played decent football, poor old Ince got some stick every time he went back, but another great player out of there. Was a great game of football, and I reckon both these sides are moving in the right direction, in Martial, Rashford, Lindegard there are some real promising youngsters coming through... a bit of that pace which UTD were always renowned for back. And the West Ham side is looking good too, I've enjoyed watching Lanzini play this year, Noble has been as good as any midfielder in the country, and obviously Payet is the new Di Canio in the waiting ( I know there's only one Paulo for you boys, but you get the gist )... plus Carroll is finally looking like the player he should be. What you've got to realise there are long hopeful balls and there are direct balls played into a player like him, West Ham now have optoion to play it up quick and direct to the big man or play through the side and work an opening, the best of both worlds really. Couldn't of asked for a better season moving into your new place or a better send off, interesting times ahead for you boys.

NEWKID 27,160
Not at all WH did well off the back of what BSA built But like I say Their final hoorare just wasn't a patch on SOL last two games Fact Really?? In what way. I'd say it was every bit as emotional, saying goodbye to a ground which for most of those fans they never wanted to leave, and beating the biggest and most successful team in the country to boot! I'd say that was a fairly lumpy final hoorare!! I know you're fishing a bit Max, but some things have to have a certain amount of reality surely??
