For lads that have been going week in week out for years it'll be a sad one no doubt. For the last 30 odd years Man U have been my 'English' team, so obviously I'm hoping for 3 points and hopefully finish 4th and CL next season, but I've always had a wee soft spot for the hammers. When my older football daft brother was about 10, he went into town to get a birthday present and came home with the full West Ham strip. This was Scotland in the early eighties at a time when almost every kid in the street had a Liverpool (Hitachi) shirt on. We'd watch Football Focus every Saturday then go and buy Shoot magazine. Think he loved Brooking as a player and that's where it all started...., that and he always had to be fcuking different Anyway he fcuked off to live in London when he was about 18 and has barely been back since. We've had our differences down the years and don't keep in touch now, but I know he still gets along to watch West Ham from time to time, and so I guess it's why I always keep an eye out for their results. Nicepix 5,650 Posted May 10, 2016 Report Share Posted May 10, 2016 Souvenirs,the place has been a massive part of our lives since we were children its only right to keep some memories back......plenty of people will be taking a few screwdrivers and socket sets but ive already got my momentos tucked safely away you got to plan ahead for these things. Getting your team bus smashed up ain't the best preparation for trying to get there. WH coukdnt complain if they were deducted points .
