How in the name of hell do steroids make your intestines grow?

Do they get longer or do they just swell?

They don't mate,,the chap that suggested that is incorrect ,,,there was suggestion years ago,,,that some of the pot bellies that were still lean and muscular ,,,was down to folk using insulin ...

In my experience the majority of people who take gear for a reason ( sport/competition etc ) are extremely knowledgable about what they are putting into their bodies.   Whereas the people who take g

Take them if you want hardened arteries and strokes in your late 40s and dead by mid 50s. You may look good in the short term but the long term damage is deadly

Not steroids growth hormone there's plenty of debate if it is the growth or the insulin they take or both but just grow more new cells and things grow like hands feet and head. Intestines just get all round bigger apparently but I've never seen one hahaha. Theirs a chap on YouTube Rich Piana he talks about his intestine rupturing his belly button.

King, don't listen to the nobs telling you they are ok, they are not !!! the graveyards around the merseyside area where I live are littered with dead lads that used steroids, we were gutted a few of us that did it the natural way seeing lads piling on stones of muscle with no more effort than us,a year or so passed by before the real side effects took place, apart from the normal rage and bad temper, spots, etc a few lads were locked up for smashing up their own houses, road rage, one lad was locked up in a mental institution and died still in there last year,he was sent there in 1978 because his nan never had his tea ready !!! it took about 15 coppers to arrest him, seen quite a few go over the edge, your physical frame can revert back but any mental changes are permanent, by the mid 80's many had serious illness and were dying, I have a mate now that used them as you say by lads in the know,he was advised by Mike Aherne (warrior), he now has diabetes and a serious heart condition needing about 30 pills to stay alive each day, he is 45yrs old, there were also many that never made that age and died waiting for heart transplants, we all have a "body potential" given in our genetics, steroids will advance any cancers or genetic potential defects that we would not get till old age, fact, is it worth it to look good on a beach for a few days each year, WM

Again the opinion of somebody who has never taken them, we see your point, but you don't see anybody else's, steroids have came along way since the early years, I know guys in the 50s taking them and have done for years and their simple rule is don't abuse it, if you abuse anything with your body you will die, fact.

Answer me this then, I attended many seminars by the biggest and best bodybuilders in the world,in fact my mate Peter Peers was Mr olympia, world, etc, why did arnold need a triple heart by-pass at such an early age,he,along with franco and many others training in californian gym's had biopsies taken and given the most suitable steroids for their body types,;endomorph, mesomorph etc,and still got f*cked up so you are full of sh*t and sound like the nobs that take them so they want everyone else to do the same so it feels alright, many health problems only show up in your 50's so good luck with that,as for me I was always a county class athlete with a large frame genetically and was still able to push the same weights as my training partner who was on the gear,I am a fit 58yr old but he died some 12yrs ago,9 tenths of the lads using gear back then are dead !!! not sick but dead, whatever you do does not effect me in the least,I am just giving my honest opinion and by the way good genetics cannot be beaten, I have 2 sons and both are at the top of their chosen trees, going beyond your body potential is unnatural, I once seen Neil jones who was a kid in our gym rip his bicep tendon clean out requiring a major operation whilst preparing for "the worlds strongest man",you can put all the muscle you like on but a small skeleton will give up from strain eventually, WM

The guys u mentioned all abused steroids, they all very rarely took a break, if anybody uses them safely and come of them

Properly and take a good break and don't abuse then then I see no problem, that's just my opinion,

I don't think it's their intestines that grow because when they stop running the stuff their stomach goes back to normal.

Yeah, but they will also have got pure pharmaceutical grade gear and most will have had doctors regularly checking their blood work and tailoring their doses for them.

The good thing about steroids these days is the amount of knowledge that you can easily attain if something was to go wrong, side effects can be non existent for some just a few spots, oily skin, orrrr blood pressure so high you put yourself in the danger zone for strokes and heart attacks!

I once had a high E2 issue just running 500mg pw of Iranian test E which shot my blood pressure up sky high due to the water retention, I made it worse using a pre workout and spent 3 days and nights honestly thinking I was going to die. No joke it scared me badly, panic attacks left and right and the worst anxiety for days after too....My own fault for not using the Arimidex that I had which would have eliminated that one problem straight away. I'd used masteron in my previous cycles which helps with any Estrogen problems for me so forgot all about them.

If I didn't know how to sort it and carried on as most lads I know would I'd probably have died or done myself some serious damage. But like I said if you didn't know then a quick Google search and you have your answer.

These aren't toys they can be like said fine for some but for others can f**k you up, be safe and be sensible.

Having read a few of the replies here and never having had any knowledge of steroids or even had any interest in weight training it would seem to me that the logical conclusion is that they are no different to alcahol, smoking or putting anything else in your body that's not meant to be there.

You do for your own purposes, you know deep down that you really shouldn't but you accept the risks because it's what you want to do.

Like any drug be it alcahol, nicotine, cannabis or anything else.......it gets you to a place you wouldn't naturally be without them.
