Dig-deep-draw-charlie 2,713
King, don't listen to the nobs telling you they are ok, they are not !!! the graveyards around the merseyside area where I live are littered with dead lads that used steroids, we were gutted a few of us that did it the natural way seeing lads piling on stones of muscle with no more effort than us,a year or so passed by before the real side effects took place, apart from the normal rage and bad temper, spots, etc a few lads were locked up for smashing up their own houses, road rage, one lad was locked up in a mental institution and died still in there last year,he was sent there in 1978 because his nan never had his tea ready !!! it took about 15 coppers to arrest him, seen quite a few go over the edge, your physical frame can revert back but any mental changes are permanent, by the mid 80's many had serious illness and were dying, I have a mate now that used them as you say by lads in the know,he was advised by Mike Aherne (warrior), he now has diabetes and a serious heart condition needing about 30 pills to stay alive each day, he is 45yrs old, there were also many that never made that age and died waiting for heart transplants, we all have a "body potential" given in our genetics, steroids will advance any cancers or genetic potential defects that we would not get till old age, fact, is it worth it to look good on a beach for a few days each year, WM Again the opinion of somebody who has never taken them, we see your point, but you don't see anybody else's, steroids have came along way since the early years, I know guys in the 50s taking them and have done for years and their simple rule is don't abuse it, if you abuse anything with your body you will die, fact.

Answer me this then, I attended many seminars by the biggest and best bodybuilders in the world,in fact my mate Peter Peers was Mr olympia, world, etc, why did arnold need a triple heart by-pass at such an early age,he,along with franco and many others training in californian gym's had biopsies taken and given the most suitable steroids for their body types,;endomorph, mesomorph etc,and still got f*cked up so you are full of sh*t and sound like the nobs that take them so they want everyone else to do the same so it feels alright, many health problems only show up in your 50's so good luck with that,as for me I was always a county class athlete with a large frame genetically and was still able to push the same weights as my training partner who was on the gear,I am a fit 58yr old but he died some 12yrs ago,9 tenths of the lads using gear back then are dead !!! not sick but dead, whatever you do does not effect me in the least,I am just giving my honest opinion and by the way good genetics cannot be beaten, I have 2 sons and both are at the top of their chosen trees, going beyond your body potential is unnatural, I once seen Neil jones who was a kid in our gym rip his bicep tendon clean out requiring a major operation whilst preparing for "the worlds strongest man",you can put all the muscle you like on but a small skeleton will give up from strain eventually, WM

MAG1980 116
Every body's doing them. Same as alot of lads on here i grew up with mates that did them, some for a short while & some that are still juiced up now & some that are no longer with us now because of them. I was tempted when i was younger but was far to lazy to go to the gym and train on a regular basis. They were bangin the suss & decca into themselves and after a short while with constant training, healthy diet and rest started to get some size. The usual unsightly zits and lumps and bumps showed up on there backs but they didnt give a f**k they thought they were the dogs bollocks. These were sound lads who could get on with anyone but alot of them quickly turned into pricks overnight as if muscle gain wasnt big enough there ego's started to match too. Still keep in touch with a few of them who did them but managed to keep everything ballanced and eventually stopped using them. I hear that the ones still going are now on the growth stuff and one lads foot has grown longer than the other one and his fingers noticebly longer too and his heart has grown abnormaly, & thats just one of them. If done correctly yes they can be good but also there's the fools who take it too far and end up paying with their lives or health. Its an idividuals choice but for me i just need to look at those lads and think yep pleased i never bothered invthe end

Some tren I've been on stung a bit when injected and makes you sweat a lot more and get a tickley cough. Test will bring out a few more spots even if not abused but if spots start getting to bad your taking too much. I found my sweat smells different when I'm on a course aswell not a horrible bo smell but it's definitely different.

One of they biggest problems with growth of too much is taken is the intestines growing look at all pro body builders not many have inni belly buttons and even though they have abs there stomach looks bloated, it's because intestines have grown that much. With the ego thing I find one steroids best points can also be its worse the confidence I get when on them has easily turned to arrogance in some of my mates but I believe they just being out the monster that's already there. Like with drink some blokes can drink and have a great night other lads have a few pint and want to fight the world. Guess I'm just lucky and it's never made me think I'm better than anybody just makes me more confident.

Plucky1 1,119
Craig, you may well be that one in ten that appears to be ok but for most there will be a bill to pay in later life, as for you knowing more about steroids then you will need to and like all drugs they are addictive, I have trained since 1974 and enjoyed a healthy life aged 58 now with a good family, I don't know how old you are now but you do sound like the "dead" lads I used to hear in the gym encouraging anyone who would listen to use them, we all think nothing is going to effect us and it will all happen to someone else but "real life" isn't as easy as that, whilst things are going great lads like you will shout from the rooftops but when the long term effects kick in like the diabetes, low thyroid/testosterone,enlarged heart, stretch marks, blood clots, hair loss, loose teeth, little d*ck,150 pounds a week for food and gear, nothing to fit you, etc, in fact the list is endless but you will not be heard shouting about them then,WM
