Gaz_1989 9,539
At least it won't go to ground mate hahathat's what I'm hoping pal too much of hard work that digging larkThere's a very good chance these WILL go to ground and if that's definitely what you don't want I would look for something bigger and from parents what don't go to ground. Some Plummers have been dug to and will stay, believe it or not. There's not many foxes where I go anyway mate.. how you finding the plummer you have as a general moocher/busherShe's spot on mate. Can't fault her. But she goes to ground and stays. She's pretty intelligent and is learning that it's not what I want from her. She's started looking at the hole, shaking with hesitation and looking at me as much to say "can I". 9/10 times now when I say "get out" she comes away. I'm sure if you had one from a pup and put the time in you could teach it to stay away. But nothing is certain. nothing is certain in the dog game pal... get out what you put in!! I have always fancied a plummer or plummer cross hence why I have gone for plummer x jack mainly going to be a mooching/bushing dog and the odd day out ratting Have you picked one of the pups? Any pics? Anything like mine and it will bush for fun. She's keen as mustard. Not done any proper days ratting yet but she's killed a few on our travels. She catches bits and bobs before the lurchers get chance... And she isn't scared of getting stuck into thick cover and taking a few knocks... 2 Quote Link to post
