Getting Gun Tested

ive a air riffle that needs to be tested, how much does the average gun shop charge to check what its putting out etc?

Best buy or borrow a crono mate, if you take it to a gunshop and its over 12ftlb

i think by law theyr not supposed to give you it back. I dont know for sure but someone on here should know if thats right or not

If it's an rfd that you know and are friendly with, he'll probably do it for free and, if it's a little over, he'll probably give you some advice.

 

As already said, get yourself some sort of chrono. I use a Combro to keep an eye on my rifles. They're relatively cheap, they work well and, after sales service is good.

BB is right in what he's saying , there will be some one close to you to crono it for you ,put up your location a bit better , Scotland's a big place mate

guy at gun shop was kind enough to do it for free... looks as though its time to get it serviced, ive found someone who does it.. out of interest, anyone on here service them?

if it is a S10 and its low on power look to get the regulator tested. these rifles are a little old now most that come to me have seals that have perished in the reg this will give low power readings from the rifle.
