Welcome duck what do you exactley mean by turning the pressure up??Do you want to put more air into the cylinder for more shots or take the FT/LB up to FAC levels??

Surely ducks not asking the forum how to take his gun beyond the legal limit without owning FAC ticket??Thats illegal isn,t it....

How do you know "it could do with power knocking up" ? Have you had it chronographed? From your blatent inexperience when it comes to shooting, I presume you don't possess a FAC? Don't go trying to bang up the power levels if you don't know what you're doing. It won't make the gun any more accurate and may land you with a lengthy prison sentance.

I had a go of a Raider a few years back and to be honest, I diddn't rate it. I wasn't impressed by the bolt action, I thought it felt a bit cheapish, but I was used to using the AA s200. With regards to your question about 'Knocking the power up', if you feel it lacks power, I'd advise you take the gun to a gunsmith and get it shot over a chronagraph. Is the gun second hand? If so, then maybe the seals need attention. Either way, the gunsmith will be able to put you right.

 

With regards to some (well, one) of the previous posts, well, I smell Airgun BBS!

Look, the bloke wants some advice on his new gun, just give him some decent advice without being a condicending ar*ehole about it.

yes i had it chronoghraphed 9.96ft lbs but i was told there not a hundred per cent

Oi...give it a rest...you trying to take over...only been on the site 5 minutes and 11 post already!!!!!!!

 

And whilst most peoples 12ft lb guns are not quite there, when you are only talking 12ft lb, 10 is a big % short, nevertheless, and in principle you should be able to do anything with 10 that you can with 12, but 12 is a little easier.

 

Anyway, I don't get the chance to shoot many pigs but I get an adequate supply of squirrel, rabbit, deer (even fox - hey do I know...stew??? )...you have any interest in a bit of trading?
