New Air Rifles Regulated "out Of The Box"

Any RAW models.

Lots of options now :)

To be fair, a lot of the modern PCP's are so well engineered, a regulator doesn't really add that much.

The AA sportier for example, it's so flat throughout its string, you'd think it was reg'd.

HW 100 are fitted with regulated? ..

Officially, according to Weihrauch, they are not regulated.

However the assembly of washers in the gun that evens out pressure acts exactly as a regulator does, so people say they are regulated. For example a full fill on my 100 rifle gives 140 shots from 11.7 ft lb at the top of the fill and peak speed to 11.12 ft lb at the bottom 140 shots later. Shot speed does not increase like an unregulated gun and it stays at around 11.7-11.5 until the last magazine when it does tend to run down. fairly fast so the tenth I consider the last magazine that has usable shots!

Chambers even sell HW100 regulator parts!

So is that clearer?

Well l bought one .. "off Rez" .. its the KT version in .177. And lm very pleased with it. I was just courious mole, sorta getting to know the HW100. By the sounds of it, it has a systen to assist a more constant air supply, though not in a way some others regulate their rifles. Either way lm pleased with it.

l started off using AA field 8.4gr - 4?52mm pellets. Grouped reasonably well though the JSB Exacts 8.44gr - 4.51mm really got the rifle to shine .. its approaching my BSA Ultra Se Airtech for consistency and accuracy levels, though not quire matching. Well pleased with it. Just got to get out with it.

Normally 4.51 doesn't perform as well as 4.52 or even 4.53 and that is the case with mine, it is a little odd however that Weihrauch state 4.51 on the action of the gun but a few guys I know gave up on the 4.51 pellets in their 100's.
