terryd 8,411 Posted May 2, 2016 Report Share Posted May 2, 2016 Life below zero is on at 10 pm every night ,,,there's only two series on witch they run continuously ,,it's Chanel 249 and plus one hour,,,251,,, follows difrent people some with family,,some living solitary lives,,,one in particular in series two,,,who are totally off grid,,living by hunting,, some are hunting guides ,,,there's a woman who lives alone,,,she's a bit annoying to be honest....but it's a good show you obviously mean the woman who runs the fueling station its not just me then. TOMO 26,120 Posted May 3, 2016 Report Share Posted May 3, 2016 Yeh Sue ,,feck me she talks in quotes ,,,all the time,,it's like she's in an action movie .....credit to her living there ,,,but I could watch the program with out her,,all the others seem alright don't like the bar code tat on the Eskimo bird,,,and she's a terrible shot,,lol,,,but they do seem to get some meat and watching her work a skin and meat is interesting ,,getting all the sinue ect... Program the other night,,watching the young lad who lives alone,,Eric was it ,,got bit by a conibear 330 lol,,,he was lucky not getting both hands caught in it,,,otherwise he would have been in a world of hurt,,similar almost happened to the young hailstone girl,,,,why they don't use a stick to take safety off feck knows,,,I even use that on a little fenn 6 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

TOMO 26,120 Posted May 3, 2016 Report Share Posted May 3, 2016 Yeh a lot of meat and fat,,,not much carbs,,,,I rember the first series they were having dinner and the plate had a few difrent meats on,,,some dried ,,some cooked,,a bit of Apple ,,,then covered in seal oil,,,not very apertising to our pallet ,,but I dare say healthy...they tried long netting some snow shoe hares with a fishing net ,,,but caught nothing,,,would love to know if they had tried it with any success in the past Quote Link to post Share on other sites
