tillylamp 1,830
Been watching life below zero on travel Chanel ,,,all about hunting and stuff in Alaska ,,they can get up to $250 dollars a skin,,,,500 for a wolf,,,some cash that i don't know what series of....life below zero you are watching..but we are watching the latest one, if it helps there are a few more programs to watch if you can get them over there, port protection, Yukon men, Klondike trappers, the boonies....is more about living of the grid, there's a guy there who lives in a cave and he loves it, he said he would never go back to civilized living, he went there after his wife died to get away from everything and never looked back, he lives about half a mile to a mile in the cave, all his belongings, guns, and a framed pic of his wife on a rock... my wife and i fancied a life..like the Alaskan way...but the crime rate up there is unreal, i worked in a place called Yellowknife in the northwest territories, in canada, its full of first nations which get a good sum of subsidies off of the government, they get houses, new trucks, food vouchers, clothing vouchers, plus they get to keep there hunting/fishing heritage, all they do is spend it on drink and drugs, they don't want to work, when i was working on the building they were living in, they were stoned at 8 oclock in the morning or pissed as a fart, they also would sit on there balconies and throw there empties over the edge down where i was working, along with spitting as well, the dogs used to pee on the balconies as well, dog shit every where, its a real big shame really, when you get out to the country side its absolutely stunning, i would love to live there in the country side (of course) but crime is very high there as well, so now we are looking to go up close to the Yukon sometime either this year or next year, not totally off the grid but half and half really, we are at the research stage at the moment,
