Underdog 2,337
Out for first light to a spot that I have been after a fox for a while. When I got to a spot over looking two large flat fields between woodland nothing was there so I thought I would go and stand by a feeder for a while. Before I got there in the half light there one was, 300yds away and through the binos looking my way, blast! I thought she had busted me so I froze! She started sniffing about again so I got behind the cattle feeder. She kept looking my way. I was on a favourite run for fox now! She slowly worked away, 400yds or so and I was not flustered, just observing when all of a sudden she turned back and came straight for me. She was on that old run I learnt of 20 years ago, she must of seen something but only now convinced it was nothing! 81 paces across the ribs. 22 WMR. Glad I played it cool! U. 2 Quote Link to post
