Penn Surfblaster 7000

Anyone got one? are they any good?? used ones seem to be on ebay a lot so wondering if there maybe not as good as they look.

They look the part. Have a look at the diawa shore cast aswell.

I have a surfmaster, I'm not sure how they diffee, probably old as it belonged to my father, great reel if they are looked after, its caught a few bass in it's time....before I owned it though!!

 

I did a lot of sea fishing at one time and found Penn reels to be good

I got two, they are pretty ok, not had any problems with them as yet, but saying that I hardly beach fish anymore.

Penn are one of my favourite makes, most of my boat reels are pen 535

Penn reels.., imo buy with confidence, had 3 of the Affinity 8000's,almost the same as the Surfblasters for two years were superb, now using the Affinity 7000's LTD liveliners

Thanks for the replies, I ended up getting a Tronix luregame, it had good ratings and seems well made thou fairly cheap... We'll see
