What Cloth/material For Oiling?

Hi Guys some advice needed?

What's the best cloth/material to use for wiping your gun down with gun oil?incidencly I use Napior gun oil with added VP90.

They say "lint-free cloth" which in my house equals old tee-shirt.

I used a cut off of some old clothing but it was abit dusty and fluffy it left some bits off the cloth.

I suppose it depends on what the clothing is made of. cotton tee-shirts don't leave bits as a rule.

I use these , spray with oil then put in a zip bag , you can cut the cloth up and make them to use in pull throughs ,same as the Napier ones http://www.shinyhardware.co.uk/prods/showcat.asp?cid=3822

I wouldn't waste them on cleaning your gun, just pop them in your coat pockets so you can have a good old sniff while you are out and about.
