8 Monthes Old

Recommended Posts

The young fella is nearly 8 month old now and coming on well.He got good prey drive a cracking nose on him and a fair turn of speed for his age and a pleasure to have around . He is 27 tts and may go another inch or so He is showing a little bit of what is to come and i am well pleased with him so far.He is a bit of a gamble with his breeding but i reckon he is going to make me a good hunting companion.

What's in the breeding mate?

He looks a big robust dog and he's got that look in his eye.

Some feet on him too.

He is Picardy Shepard x Grey over a Bovier des flander x Grey. He got some good boots on him and thick skin and a good coat so he should take a few knocks

I do like the look of him! Some of the continental "herding" breeds could throw some handy/interesting animals. would you happen to have any pictures of the dam and sire?

I got some photos somewhere when I come across them I will send you them fella

Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder ,ugly bugger jmo,but that doesn't mean he won't be handy, why do people go for these types rather then the tried and tested typed.

they said that about the bullx and the salukix way back when. I think its just human nature to try and "discover" something new or just to be different. Personally, I like many of these primitive herding/farm dogs believe that they may have something different to add to the lurcher gene puddle.
