tillylamp 1,830
The guy is an embarresment and a disgrace. Using language like that in a public display? He is at the absolute pinacle of the sport and should be setting an example for the kids that are starting out. Doing bad impressions of vlads accent so now he can add public racism to his portfolio. The man has no class. He should be stripped of his liscence never mind belts. I dont care what happens on the night because if he loses Im happy, if he wins then he will lose to aj so Im happy. No way I would let my boy watch this clown with the language he comes out with...how can a world champion like that be good for the sport regardless of where he is from? I thought boxing is about discipline and respect? That is why I dont like him. That Mick Hennesy is a scum bag aswell hangin on his coat tails lettin him do this stuff. its cringworthy. I think if he wins he will pack in, give it all "Ive achieved what I set out to do" Surely his kids are watchin him and lookin up to him, probably thinks its funny when they are actin up n swearin. totally agree mate....don't worry hes moving to america after the klitchko fight, so we won't have to see him around that much,
gnasher16 30,121
So Mik do you think he ain't a natural fighter Won't matter to him weather a fights in the ring In the pub On the street Or in the bath That bloke would have a do anywhere with anyone. So would my sister but i wouldnt describe her as having fighting heart thats just having a fearless nature....fighting heart is what the kid Blackwell showed the other week where you are getting consistently beaten in every department but still trying desperately to win.
shepp 2,285
Mik he loves a fight Prob been fighting since he could walk Like I say I don't think it would matter to Tyson if he was fighting in Vagas or Appleby in a Field. Ie he has heart for a fight anytime any place anywhere against anyone A Fighters Heart. But that's just my opinion So Mik you obviously think Tyson ain't got a fighters heart ' ? He said himself that he's never had a fight outside the ring. How's the mullet going?

I dont know if he has a fighters heart ....I havent seen him prove he has a fighters heart ....he likes to tell you he has but like I say talk is cheap ....I could name countless fighters that are battlers and have prooved it in the ring for all to see ....not just fighters in the ring I know plenty of folk I would say have fighters heart and they have never stepped in the ring or had a stand up physical fight but for other reasons they have that never give up attitude

Thats what gets my back up. Some example to be settin. His problem is that there is a distinct lack of inteligence that would allow him to play elaborate mind games to get the edge on the opponent so instead he calls names and swears and acts the fool. It will be interesting to see the post fight interview if he loses. Thats when it will be evident if its all a game.

Personally i dont go along with all the role model stuff that sportsmen are expected to be........i think thats a parents job........just because a young man reaches the top of his chosen sport doesnt mean he should have to take elocution lessons he,s there to perform at sport not talk infront of cameras.......but i do think men, particularly fighting men should carry themselves with a little bit of class and have something about them.

However regardless of a mans profesion there is a time and a place. Foul language like that doesnt bother me on site or in the wmc. But it would bother me in front of my wife or kids. Thats all I meant gnash. Because of the level he has managed to get to this goes to a wide audiance and inevitably there will be kids lookin up to him and watchin this and he goes off like that? A parent can be the best role model going but a kid will still pick up on things from others. Maybe he should just be concious of that. Regarding performing the sport and not talking infront of cameras I agree 100%....if Fury was there to just perform his sport and do nothing for the cameras I have no doubt I would be a fan. The majority have all got a history of violence, drugs etc. I bet there's loads of lads that love Mike Tyson but look at his past. If you can't see that fury is just acting for the cameras. It's all part of the show. They only role model for ya kids is you. ? Edited April 29, 2016 by stevo79

Not sure it is an act steveo, like I said that will become apparant IF he loses, because if it was all just an act he will become a gentlemam and humbly accept defeat....cant see it can you? Persinally I guess the guy is just a much of a bell end in real life though its only a guess as I have never had the pleasure of his company.
