But you would know. Could be said about every where rural and it's the internal combustion engine that changed that,folk didn't have to travel at walking pace be it shanks pony or a real one,same for the dogs,most livestock,farming and it's methods methods all changed because of the IC engine .. Was looking for a job last week, stumbled onto a farm out in the sticks a bit, old boy in a tractor coming up the track, must of been ... asked him directions, now I'm Devon born and bred and f**k could I understand this old boy, as broad as you can get, doubt he's left the farm let alone Devon lol Nice they're still about, don't want everything being lost to the modern age do we..!!
