Take a look online

Bobby Thomoson the best comedien that's ever lived .

After You lol

Is he really the best comedian that ever lived Max??

Or the best comedian from Hartlepool (I'm guessing where he's from)..

What about Billy Conolly, Peter Kay, Lee Evans, Tommy Cooper, Dave Allen........ Etc

Most haven't even heard of your fella I guess??

There's a local comedian here called, Tank Sherman just cause he's from round here I wouldn't call him the best or Jethro, f**k his stuff is stale now!!

Now your trying to tell me about the area I live in lol

Yes dialect has changed

Once over villages ten miles apart around here had a slightly different dialect .

But you would know.

Could be said about every where rural and it's the internal combustion engine that changed that, folk didn't have to travel at walking pace be it shanks pony or a real one, same for the dogs, most livestock, farming and it's methods methods all changed because of the IC engine  ..

Watch it and you will probably start to understand the dialect

I'll give it a watch later Max, but I still think your tongue was firmly in your cheek when saying the best ever lol...

Next it'll be Fury is the best ever or even Sunderland are a big club!! .... :whistling::laugh:

No mate for me the best ever

You like what you like

He was a Co Durham lad

And his tounge is old Pitmatic talk which a lot is all but lost.

Was looking for a job last week, stumbled onto a farm out in the sticks a bit, old boy in a tractor coming up the track, must of been 80... asked him directions, now I'm Devon born and bred and f**k could I understand this old boy, as broad as you can get, doubt he's left the farm let alone Devon lol

Nice they're still about, don't want everything being lost to the modern age do we..!!

When I lived in Devon The farmers always spoke in their own language lol

Took a few good meetings to completely understand what they were saying.

One farmer in particular was in the field in hes tractor shouting something.

So I went up to the tractor to ask what he said.

Took a few attempts but what he was saying was get out the fcukin way lol lol
