Well fury sure does divide opinion lol.. I think he's just playing mind games like he did before the last fight..and as for him being overweight .. He always is and will be similar weight to the first fight come fight night..

I think he's had a rough deal with the media and hasn't had the recognition his win in Germany deserved.. If other British fighters had beaten wlad over there we wouldn't have heard the last of it .. Documentaries etc if he was a cocky Muslim he would be hailed as a brash British boxer but because he calls himself the Gypsy King nobody likes him? I like AJ as a boxer but it bugs me how everyone sees him as some sort of Angel when it's obvious he thinks he's a gangster talking all that bull about staying humble blah blah blah he's convicted drug dealer but hailed as a role model??but the media like him so we should also?

He was convicted when he was 17 since then he has focused on boxing and turned himself around...how is that not a good thing?

It's probably a fine line but yes get it right and he probably will carry more power at X weight instead of Y.

It probably is a fine. Personally I would rather enter a fight a touch lighter but fitter and faster than heavier and not as fit. Speed comes into punching power after all (F = M x A).

 

Or if you want to increase you're weight, do it like David Haye has done maintain fitness and condition but increase muscle mass.

 

But each to their own. It will soon be revealed.

Fury was out of shape before going into camp before the last Klitschko fight...he still came on fight night in condition capable of running rings round Wvlad for 12 rounds

Gaz heavyweight boxers of the past fought for 15 rounds even when it came down to 12 rounds most wernt a Bruno or Haye or AJ physice.

They carried Some Fat and they lasted 12-15 round wars

 

Don't be fooled into thinking heavyweight boxers have to be all muscle and ripped.

Sure they could last 12 rounds, but there's carrying some fat and carrying too much fat.

 

Don't be fooled into thinking they are at their physical peak when they turn up out of shape, and that definitely affects your confidence when you get in the ring knowing you could have prepared better. Wether it shows or not. Mentally they know they could have done more.
