Mary 352
2nd and 3rd kill came out of the same break, one ran straight into 3 waiting dogs while the other had a pack right up on it, definitely released out of a pen or cage, dropping quarry for the camera, some things never change lol. 2 Quote Link to post
Mary 352
What's the other dogs waiting for, an invitation? And probably another one dropped for the camera, didn't show the chase. Quote Link to post

Goes to show how much they've changed in 100 years. Funny bit of filming there where the Wolf runs straight into the dogs. Quote Link to post

desertbred 5,490
What's the other dogs waiting for, an invitation? And probably another one dropped for the camera, didn't show when one dog has it by the throat why would it need two.? these lads do them all the time they hunt them so why drop them for the cameras is that your way of doing it? Mickey Finn 3,016
from 1910 http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=6ef_1461709070 Interesting video. Imagine what they had to go through to get that ancient equipment set up. 2nd and 3rd kill came out of the same break, one ran straight into 3 waiting dogs while the other had a pack right up on it, definitely released out of a pen or cage, dropping quarry for the camera, some things never change lol. Maybe a little staging who can tell. But it looked to me like the wolves were driven by the hounds to the hunters and their sight hounds. I think setting up a film was quite a challenge and they did everything they could to show how a hunt goes. Here in Michigan we use scent hounds to drive coyote's to our guns. Some do use stag hounds much like these old boys in the film did. So in a sense somethings never change. What's the other dogs waiting for, an invitation? And probably another one dropped for the camera, didn't show the chase. You are critical. Quote Link to post
