We've all got our own demons mate. I suffer with intrusive thoughts. Only mildly and I don't get anxiety what a lot of people get with it. But it still gives me a few hair raising moments now and then.

It's all mind over matter, certainly in my case.

My missus brother suffers with anxiety and it's getting worse. He has panic attacks in public and loses his sight and hearing. Yet 5 years ago he was a stand up comic and travelled the world performing in front of hundreds. Go figure.

I've never heard of intrusive thoughts gaz.whats that all about.

Involuntary thoughts that you shouldn't be having King mate. Used to get them bad when was going through trouble with my ex and not seeing my little girl for a few months. I'm pretty chilled and content now and get them far less frequent.

Weird shit I won't get into on here. Not suicidal thoughts at all. Just your mind telling you to do something you shouldn't just for a split second then it goes.

Is there any history of autism in your family gaz.

Both my lads have it and I might have a little bit I'm sure.

Ive had out of the blue urges to punch someone even good mates etc.

Or throw a cup of tea in someone's face just to see the reaction.

Ive never done it but I have to move out of range so to speak lol.

Strange thing the mind gaz.

Apparently everyone has autism some so slight it's never known.

You need to stay that way socks,,,cos 4-6 cans of cider every night,,,plus a bottle of wine ,,,is called being an alcoholic

All ready is.just started boxing together Sundays too.

I think a few of us might of had a fleeting urge to do something that would be the worst thing to do in a certain situation.

Maybe something like shout out 'c**t' during a wedding service lol

the sound of wheelie bin getting emptied the best indicator

I remember doing one of those drink tests in the pub about 20 years ago with a few mates one Sunday morning, we had the wrong answer for every question, but I think we've grown out of it. Only take a drink on bank holiday's and special occasions now, 5-6 drinks hate being hungover to death.

A couple of months back, Channel 5 ran a documentary called " I'm an alcoholic: my name is..."

No interviews, big production values or flashy graphics - just ordinary people telling their stories. Brutally honest and, at times, very moving......

Worth a watch, if you want to understand a bit more about it.

Keep wanting to post.... But my FEO might be watching! Lol

Which station were you on TB? I've been on a few, drinking was part of it (not at work) but afterwards it was silly! But it does feel like you've spent the day in prison! F*cked a few good jobs up thru enjoying a drink with the lads.
