shepp 2,285
Amazing he could travel that distance and find food on the way. I think I'd have to keep him after that show of loyalty. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3558096/Sheepdog-makes-incredible-12-day-240-mile-journey-original-owner-running-new-farmhouse.html

Blackdog92 2,047
Amazing that is. There was an fella who use to live down the road from the village i grew up in who worked away from home of shore for months on end and he had a stafforshire bull terrier. While he was away at work his dog would stay at the nearby farm and they would look after it. Well they didnt really have to it would spend its time trailing about you would see it in the most random places. But some how it would know when he was coming home. His first point of call when coming home would be the village pub and every time he got to the pub after being away for months the dog would be waiting there for him it was the strangest thing how it knew.
terryd 8,415
brilliant and looks like they are keeping him. Be right downer if they threw poor sod in the truck and took him back. Amazing how he made it considering traffic and god knows what else. Love a happy ending
Neal 1,866
That's got to be up there with the exploits of "Red dog" and the heeler who was left at home in Australia while his owners went sailing, broke out of the house and swam a mile out to sea! Love 'em or hate 'em, there's nothing like a herder for character and charisma.
