Poor performance and the lad was still coasting it winning every round!...and what needs to be remembered is Kassi took Breazeal the distance...as has been said the lads only 21( and 20-0)...think what you could see Saturday night he got a lot of maturing to do in more ways than one...as they say 21 is a baby in the Heavyweigh divison...another 10 yrs and who knows with all that experience behind him...bit harsh to write him off as just shit...just yet

Dogfox i think you are missing what im trying to say mate......not every jab a fighter throws has the same intention i never saw Tyson use the jab to stay on the outside he wanted to close distance not create it.......i,ll leave it there as its only my opinion.

What is the debate anyway? Hahaha. Of course it was a weapon to close distance and create openings, but everybody saw what happened when he neglected it. It was vital to his game IMO.

I,ll have one last try :D for you to say Tyson had a great jab he would of had to out jab other good jabbers.....and he never......Douglas beat him up with the jab alone....even Tucker before that some folk believe he should of got the decision because of the jab.......Tyson would of had a good jab in the light heavyweight division, guys of his size.....but he could never of won a fight with his jab he was a slugger......Lennox without a jab is nothing,Fury probably the same......Tyson without a jab is still a hell of a slugger........it wasnt his jab he neglected as much as his head movement....,in his early career his head movement was phenomenal it compensated for his little tiny reach and lack of a consistent jab.

yeah defo didnt move the same when he came out of jail

He wernt the same man/fighter after he came out of jail full stop...i belive if Holyfield would of fought him before he got locked up it would of been a differnt story

Let's not forget Holyfield wasn't in his prime when he beat Tyson. A fight between the pair in the early 90's would have been mouth watering to say the least.

he might have won every round but he was knackered and he did not hurt kassi once ,kassi kept coming forward and was hitting a lot harder than Hughie and if it had gone on I think kassi would sparked him

Yeah it's fair to say Hughie was knackered I agree on that but I don't think Kassi was troubling him that badly

Of course he did, hell he was out jabbing Larry Holmes and Pinklon Thomas, two fighters with great jabs.

I don't know where you got that from? Tyson won every round against Tucker I believe. Tyson was far from a slugger imo, he did all his best work at mid range, his inside game wasn't brilliant as he was lazy and would let people hold him inside the clinch. Yes he neglected head movement post Rooney, but what pisses me off about Tyson is all the excuses. All fighters have problems inside and outside the ring, the fanatics can't accept he was beaten by the better man in Douglas.

When you say out jabbed.....do you actually think he could of out pointed either of those 2 gents over 12 rounds on his jab ?.......his jab wasnt a stand alone punch like a Liston jab that would damage whatever it hit or a peak Holmes jab that could win fights it was purely a filler he could never of won a fight with it which is the benchmark for a great jab surely.......i dont think Tucker beat him but he certainly showed the way he was going to be beaten.....as for the fanatics/excuses etc i couldnt agree more ive said for years he was a good champion probably on par with someone like Ezzard Charles but how could he be classed a great champion based on some imaginary peak that he never reached or potential he never fulfilled Douglas was the far superior fighter it shouldnt be filed away as some kind of fluke that we have to look past and forget.....why folk give him these silly excuses has always been beyond me.

With an even more convincing win for Holyfield in my opinion.

Makes you laugh with this Hughie kid he,s been a pro longer than Joshua yet the same people moaning about Joshua fighting rollovers dont mind a more experienced pro like Fury being babied along in absolute nothing fights......if Joshua had not of won a gold would it be acceptable for him to have these sort of fights as well ?

As for all this Kassi fought the man who Joshua is fighting so that makes him a tough opponent :D......you dont fight a name you fight a man whos to say the same man was in the same shape with the same desire for both opponents !

Well if you want to say that it's true yes They both had thier pro debuts in the same year Hughie a few months longer than aj

But then if you consider the time Hughie spent out of the sport due to his injury then it's not relevant

also consider the age between them Hughie is a 21 year old and Anthony 26
