Pics of my Terriers

The bitch on the right is my old Red bitch Meg, well I say old she is around 4, but she is my oldest Terrier at the moment. This bitch means the world to me, we have had some very "emotional" times over the years, (I'm sure some of you know the score), It was only a few weeks ago when we thought we had lost her to ground. Small and tight and fits anywhere, just the way I like them :big_boss: Not the smartest looking bitch in the world, but then again, she doesn't need to be ;)

The black and tan bitch at the side of her is her daughter, she is still fairly young (20+ months) but is showing some good potential at last after a very slow start!

Both work cover like there is no tomorrow and between these 2 we have had 10+ foxes and 30+ rabbits so far this season, thats not including the bolters that the lurcher has caught :big_boss: !

Although not what I'm totally into the red bitch is also a handy digging dog and more than proved her worth to me, she also flies through rock piles, but I would say that 80% of the reds what we catch are above ground (speaking pre ban of course), not everyones cup of tea but it works for me and to be honest we dont really do that bad, obviously its each to their own though.

The black and tan bitch, like I say had a really low start and up until she was 14 months old, I really didn't think she was going to make the grade, then all of a sudden something must have clicked and now I'm glad I persisted with her and would not part with her now! She is proving to be a decent bitch and has seen stuff to ground with brilliant results.

This is one of the red bitch the day after her last dig a couple of weeks ago.

Another one of the red dog pup above, Billy. He is quite a small for dog, but I like them like this :D . This dog hasn't seen that much to be honest, he is not a big fan of working cover, but if something gets caught in there, he flies in  , funny isn't it!!! I am however going to persist with him, simply for the fact I bred him and want to give him every opportuntiy to prove himself and I'm hoping he will be a dog just for ground work, but we will see. Although he has got a long way to go, he is after all still fairly young so there is no rush and judging by how his sister (the black and tan bitch) acted up until she was around 14 month old, there is plenty of hope for him.......hopefully  .

And finally one of my other pup, this time my Choc and Tan bitch, Ivy. She is around the 8 month mark and is very closely related to the red bitch above. She is coming on like no pup I have had before! She has already had over 20 rats and is getting fairly handy working cover, even at this young age, I really have high hopes for this little bitch, nothing phazes her!

All my terriers originate from the red bitch in my first post, who herself came from an exceptional bitch which only ever had 2 pups, my red bitch and a black dog which is now unfortunately dead. No particular famous lines, but just a line both myself and a close friend is trying to maintain, composed of mainly fell/lakey types, but always worker to worker.

So....Thats me!!
