WILF 47,426
Try the air rifle section I'm sure if anyone is close by they would be happy of the chance to sort them out for you It don't matter where they are in the country, they will be able to hit the rats from their back garden......with a little adjustment for breeze and drop it won't be a problem.
socks 32,253
It's lucky you have this problem now with the warmer weather coming ... There's no way you will get an air rifle shooter out in the winter .......
Astanley 11,576
Well as long as we shoot the HARES and rabbits there will be nothing left for you lot to get and that will get right up your noses atvbmac  Did the CCC (cammo clad c**ts ) push you to the front to stand up to the nasty Dogmen ?
jmilam08 193
There will be no time for actual shooting this summer, they'll all be in the sheds bollocko rubbing each other's stocks down!

ratattack 111
Thanks for the replies guys. Shooting isn't really an option, this little fella I've never seen. Also, I suspect that there's a family of babies in there. Poison isn't an option either, the chickens will eat it & some of that's I've come across this year are immune. I really need a ferret, stoat or weasel. Chickens need to eat a huge amount of poison to kill them, difenacoum/bromadialone is 1kg of poison per kg of body weight! Rats generally are not "immune" to poisoning there is usually not enough poison in place to control them. Resistance is not common unless you live in cities like London or Birmingham. If it's a handful of rats then a small amount of poison will sort them out much quicker than buggering around trying to get a ferret or shoot em.

mackem 27,254
So is a .177 or a .22 best for this ?Depends on the position of the moon and it's gravitational pull And the coriolis effect and bullet drift and meteorology and geophysics it is airgunners after all (best not mention the calibre controversy).

LOL. Don't take any of this personally. Air guns have their place but they do attract a certain kind of person. It's all tongue in cheek fella..........

kanny 20,698
I like the air gun it's a perfect tool for putting small game in pristine condition on the table.. I just dont seem to share the same enthusiasm for the details that other air gunners do.
