bigfellap 587
I know a couple of lads that struggle turning them on and off. Have to use a stick or the end of the bar. I couldn't fault them or the box before today. Had the same problem with my box only 7month old the on off button was faulty they fix it under the warranty Quote Link to post
chilli 381
I had a red box with a screen problem probably had it close to the time of the warranty running out . Sent it back after a chat with them ,a week later when I got home after work there was a brand new one as a replacement . So i can't fault them . 1 Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Just read the warranty on the red un and can't see where the battery isn't covered. Quote Link to post
jiggy 3,209
Cargol is a salesman for barryvox, lol clever marketing. 1 Quote Link to post
Cargol 302
Just read the warranty on the red un and can't see where the battery isn't covered. I thought the same. And maybe I should have argued the point more. Surely if it's a complete unit that can't be opened or tampered with then all internal components should be included in the warranty? 2 Quote Link to post

I have found the management to be a bit slippery in the past but a few dropped hints on bad publicity worked wonders mate .Dont be fobbed off with bad service . 2 Quote Link to post
Cargol 302
I'm not looking to put down anyone or there business mate. Its more to make lads aware as I didn't know the ins and outs of the warranty before this happened. So if it saves lads a few quid in the future then happy days. Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Its no business if aftercare isn't second to none mate .Shell out more money if you like but I'd be asking questions . 1 Quote Link to post
dillydog 8,463
I sent my two boxes back last week after a short phone call with Emma, to be fair Emma has too deal with us unwashed fuckers on a daily basis and her phone manner comes across as grating to say the least. I was fully expecting a bill with every excuse in the book why it was my fault, bla, bla, bla. One box had an LED bulb out and the other was almost unusable because of the switch. The box with the dodgy LED was a few months off running out of warranty but the dodgy switch one was new last year, both were scrapped and I had to brand new boxes this morning in the post. You can't fault them for speed and service 7 Quote Link to post
