Guest Ditch_Shitter
This subject's been about done to death here already, mate. (Run a Search?) But it still intrigues me anyway ~ the weight of opionion appears to be for the Pro? As ye've taken the leap and actually ordered one, please do make a point of coming back later and giving us Your opinion. Thinking about it; We're yet to see a Post dedicated to " I had a great day out with my Rat Smoker ". But nor has anyone said they're gutted and have discarded the thing. Never yet seen one offered for sale, second hand either So what Does give with them? We could use all the input we can get. Please do provide yours Thanks. Quote Link to post

bigadg 5
they are the dog's mate i aint got one myself but use my mates. they are very quite and produce a vast amount of smoke, dont try to inject to much smoke down the hole or it will ignite and blow back. not sure if it will run on any other type of oil or not but going to give vegatable oil a go.they recomend you only use the oil they supply. stu Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Adge; Watch what ye do with that vegetable oil, mate. I raised this exact same point about the being tied to the seller and suggested vegetable oil. I can't honestly remember who replied or exactly what they said. But I remember it was a no, no for some reason. Be a swine to f*ck up the apparatus. Quote Link to post

Guest Leveller
Personally I think they're a waste of money we hammered one last season the suppliers brought them out with our rat pack most days and they stink, they get very hot and you can't beat the smell of 2 stroke on a sunday morning get yourself a chainsaw Quote Link to post

bullet 131
ive got a hedge trimmer and a chains saw both converted for safety reasons and guess what? they were free! i only rate smokers for where there's a lot of cover and you cant get in to dig or under tree roots, and i must of admit you cant beat the smell of two stroke Quote Link to post
thebolt 4
thebolt, we tried em and decieded they wernt for us ...we prefere to let the dogs use their nose as we dig on ....but keep us informed on how you get on ....and dont forget the camera .... ok m/n will do Quote Link to post
