Well first day off in the last two weeks where the kids and wife are back to normal duties, did plan to go fishing but got a lot going on so thought a wee walk would be better to clear my head. Loaded the dogs and only went a wee half mile down the road. Unloaded stuck the collar on Zak and let him bush away with the puppy taking interest every now and again. The lurcher was on the lead so no mishaps, it was just grand to watch the dogs with not a care in the world, pushed a few bunnies a couple of pheasants and heard him crashing in the wood, may have been a fox or a roe either way when I got him back he had a good work out, maddie is almost 5 months and is great seeing her find her feet over water and broken branches and how to conquer fences all the foundations she ll require for when she finds what her nose is for. Sometimes it's the simple things that can bring positive thoughts. Enjoy the break folks

Zak looks a fine animal John. it's great seeing pups learning when out and about.cant beat the peace and quiet of a walk with the dogs i dont think much though to busy watching the dogs every move lol

Yeh I keep tabs on him constant, when the lurchers hunting with him it turns into a nightmare walk at times as the nose goes down and its gung ho, Today was only him to worry about so a little more at ease than normal lol

Yeh mate, the other day on a call out she barked the whole dig thru done my box lol just aswell it was only a shallow set, she tries sneaking up on the dogs and now took a liking to try and catch bees lol. They should come with a warning sign eh haha

Mad you say about the bees that one of mine was shaking her head and growling other day went and looked what was happening and she's shaking a big arse bumblebee like a rat lol.atb dc

Ah well mate she should be just about done with all her growing now eh, I had a 14inch dog here he's 11 now an long retired but he could get about the ground for his size lacked the brain cells tho
