My Daughter Olive's First Hunt With Our Mink Rio!

Never too early to start taking your kids hunting

But on a different note altogether, either you don't have Weils disease in America, or you're completely insane! In the UK 50% of wild rats carry Weils disease. A bite from one of those would literally be life-threatening!

Yeah, Weils disease is only common in really wet, humid areas. I live in a desert region. The disease is not known to be anywhere near where I live. Thanks for your concern :)

Yeah, I'm from Utah, so way west of you. My parents live in Illinois near Chicago. I was there just last winter. I got my first mink back in 2003. This video tells the story of how I got into mink...

I feed meat from my mink's kills, so a mixture of muskrats, brown rats, rabbits, squirrels, kangaroo rats, etc. When I'm first training a mink I dedicate a couple hours a day, every day, for at least 2 or 3 months, usually longer. After they are trained I back off to about an hour a day to every other day, depending on how busy I am.

You can get my book on Amazon, but it's pretty expensive on there. Since I'm the author I get a discount if I order it for you. So I like to offer to order my book for people who want to save some money. If you want to order a copy, you can send me a privet message on here, or send it to my Minkenry Facebook page...
