Think it was £50 a ticket and they sold 50 tickets or so. But it was for a good cause. A well respected lurcher man past away very young leaving a missus and a few kids just before Christmas. The proceeds went to his family. To raffle a pups for profit for the breeder is madness I think but it's a mad world we live in. Quote Link to post

grompz 703 Posted April 15, 2016 Report Share Posted April 15, 2016 always had deerhoundxgreyhounds around me and still run them now,maybe im ignorant but what would adding borzoi into the breeding achieve seen plenty with collie and bull blood in them and they were useful dogs anybodyknow. Adding working borzoi mightn't hurt, but I can't see any UK borzoi blood being a worthwhile addition. Quote Link to post
