Bed/boxing Ideas

Nothing to do with Molly coddling the dogs, just if I'm spending and busting a bollock to get them done I'd rather have something done right first time round. Chances are they won't need a heat lamp or tube but never hurt to have it there just incase.

I might block up like giro done then use wood on top like him, thanks for the pics giro

Yeah definitely better to have the option like. They help dry out the bedding too. Vet bedding is also a great shout too. My mrs is a vet so I get it for free and I have to say that it it's really good stuff. I'll get a picture up of mine for ya

Cheers local builder made them..   Better than my last ones but they were warm, dry and draft free..         Rug them up if it's real cold or they've been hard at it..

If you have more than 3 dogs in a well insulated kennel with plenty bedding you shouldn't need any heat they will generate their own unless it is very cold. I would just put a greyhound kennel coat o

Thats mine.

No worries mate..

Works well and if they want they can lay ontop of the wood..

I was worried theyd chew the roof , a keen dog could destroy them bitchumen sheets in a short time..

I used to have box profile tin sheets on my old runs but got condensation and dripped..

thats what I have ready to go on but they need insulation apparently, been advised to use jabalite sheet under it?

The guy that delivered the roofing delivered the wrong boxing I ordered and forgot the foam inserts, he's not answering the phone now.

Looks like he's trying to fleece me, but I know where his yard is so give him benefit of the doubt until Monday. b*****d! Lol

Just asking a few mates of mine just have the dogs on boards off the ground as are mine but as I get shredded paper when I want by the sack it seems daft not to use it. I change it regularly and is a pain in the a**e when wet. The question is do I use bedding or not?? Used some form of bedding for years but should I now "get with it" and leave the dogs on wooden boards only??
