Quick Roost Shoot On Wood Pigeon With F,a,p. .22

Well , as promised, i`m giving .22 cal every bit as much time out as the .177 this coming year. So tonight, i again went to the small wood with the HW 100 ks .22.

I was presented with five (easy) shots and took the five pigeons with heart/ lung shots (side on but for one), all around 35 yards range.

The Falcons make short work of Wood Pigeons at these ranges. Instant despatch.

To be honest lads - i am fast becoming very fond of this combination for hunting,- nearly as much as the kt .177 .

Honesty is the best policy mate!! You'll get a bit for that "admission" though,when you're confident and comfortable in your kit though it can show through in the results...

Ok, if it helps you, photos next time out but how about photos from you all too eh ?

Slowly getting the hang of this photo posting now lads.

A natural hide is always the best. I have maintained this spot for years.
