What would your ideal whippet be?

Height?

Weight?

Dog or bitch?

Also what would you expect a good whiloet to take pre ban?

Non ped, 22 t0 23ins, 32-34lbs bitch.

Any working line not some bulled up line you see advertised these days, as for prey pre ban or not, rabbits and hares im a big believer in using the right tool for the job. For fox or deer a whippet would not be my choice of weapon.

Not seen any ped whippets work but non ped whippet/grey types in the 80s 90s good rabbit/hare catch dogs.

It's a well known fact, especially on here, that whippets are useless as working dogs. Just get a bull cross, WILL catch everything, pre ban or otherwise, mice to red deer
