pesky1972 5,255 Posted Sunday at 00:00 Report Share Posted Sunday at 00:00 I’ve seen worse commentary, and actually called it the same as McGuigan with Usyk winning by a point. A few of the early rounds were very close. In my opinion its a ‘flaw’ in the way very close fights are decided when judges tend to mark 10-9, and then might favour one fighter. Seen it recently in Catterall v Taylor 2 where a lot of the rounds I couldn’t split them, but where two judges gave Taylor only 3 rounds, and a share of none. No doubt Catterall won the fight but the margin (117-111 on two cards) appeared very unfair to me. I thought Fury did better tonight but Usyk showed over the two bouts he’s the better boxer. A third fight would almost certainly finish the same as the first two. Fury should retire now.., and I wouldn’t be surprised if Usyk does.

Going by the 'viewers scorecards' fury was well up going into the last few rounds.

jukel123 8,017 Posted Sunday at 00:06 Report Share Posted Sunday at 00:06 There's always an element of the champion is favoured by the judges. But Usyk won, no doubt. Fury improved a lot. I thought he might gas out carrying all that fat. Credit it to him. But sometimes David has Goliath's number. Dry your eyes fat boy.

neil82 1,080 Posted Sunday at 00:16 Report Share Posted Sunday at 00:16 Never regarded Tyson as a boxer only a good strategist who knew how to do enough to win a fight, been found out now so it`s time to back off until one of the Pauls call him out for the next big payday!

Nothing to be ashamed of loosing closely to Usyk. I wish Fury all the best. I think his legacy will be he wasted years of boxing fighting the likes of whyte chisora and wilder and got found out by a cruiser now lets get some young blood coming through and put the old guard out to grass it’s been a shite few years in heavyweight boxing mostly caused by fury and his circus hopefully it’s over

I hope he retires tbh.
