My recollection is that Usyk's stamina is second to none, which is surprising given the mesmerising movement he shows during his fights. You said yourself it was Joshua who was " fatigued" in the last round of their second fight.

I suspect you are a Russian sleeper spy determined to undermine Ukraine by rubbishing  Usyk.

Putin will have you locked up in a salt mine when your cunning plan becomes unstuck

last round of the first fight mate second fight usyk looked gassed

I cant help but feel Eubanks career has been a really sad waste.....an absolutely gifted physical specimen with the genetics to reach the very top.....completely spoiled by an inherent arrogance.

He's picked up the best and worst traits of the old man....the way he doesnt bother blocking punches and just thinks he has the chin to ride hard shots with contempt....yes the weight will have effected his punch resistance, yes he isnt the most polished fighter in the world but that lad could have been so much more,as an ex sportsman it pains me to see wasted talent like that......how much blame go's on the father...who knows but its a real tragedy for me that lads career.

Sorry I thought you were on about Fury v Chishora 3. That was a ritual beating, a sad night for british boxing imo. I didn't watch that out of principle.

I don't agree Usyk 'runs'. He has brilliant footwork. Agreed if he stood toe to toe with a bigger man he would eventually be knocked out. But that's not what boxing is about. Was Ali a runner? Sugar Ray Robinson? Sugar Ray Leonard?  Appreciating a boxer who can dance, feint, confuse his opponent, hit and move that's  what boxing is about for me.

I can appreciate a well executed knock out punch. But I prefer to see an evenly matched  contest where nobody gets seriously hurt if I'm honest. Boxers are so incredibly fit these days, they are capable of severely injuring an opponent, or worse. I prefer skill over slugging any day of the week.

Thats a good post.....ultimately " fans "  look for qualities in fighters they can understand and appreciate themselves......personally i think a lot of the " toughness " has gone from fighters, years ago your average fighter was a reasonably tough man in general and i liked that its how it should be for me......but in todays times a lot of fighters are more " athletes " relying on fitness and reactions......ive always felt Ray Robinson was the most complete fighter theres ever been and Ali/Leonard were not far off.....they just had above average qualities in everything they did but ultimately when the shit hit the fan they were tough guys.....for me a fighter like Mayweather who relied on defensive reactions or Fury who relies on sheer size and weight are not true stars of boxing because they are not particularly tough, rugged spiteful men you would think twice about walking up on in the street......yes its about hitting and not getting hit but inside all of us whether we admit it or not is a healthy respect for a tough man....and for me there are simply no heavyweights like that anymore.
