Yep, joshua vs klitschko was a cracking fight to watch. Again, Magoo, have a 'proper' look at who wilder fought, their ranking at the time he fought them, number of fights, and what they had 'actually' achieved. You'll realise very quickly how poor, and how protected he really was/is. Edited September 6, 2022 by shaaark

I love hearing about all sorts of things and I know zilch about boxing or boxing gyms. I have a massive interest in building players and I think you can learn lots from all sorts of places outside your own discipline, so thanks again PS: I think you’d like a documentary called “The Last Dance”…..it’s about the Chicago Bulls and Micheal Jordan. That bloke was a mentality machine….but more than that, the coach Phil Jackson is a very interesting bloke. I know it probably wouldn’t ordinarily be your cup of tea but it’s genuinely brilliant to watch. I really enjoyed that series mate, MJ was a nasty b*****d, and not well liked, but that's why he was the best...what an athlete! 1

This coming from a man who the very first exchange of boxing views i ever shared with he was telling me Hartlepool produced better fighters than East London ! 6 hours ago, JBs Left Peg said: Peter Fury is a very capable boxing coach but you didn’t rate him a few years back . You said Tyson should of went to Simms or some other I think it was ? How can i rate a man ive never seen work ?.....i said Fury should get away from having his silly screaming nutty family around him....which he did and went from strength to strength.....i actually said he should go with Joe Gallagher or some other proven Northern trainer.....( just ask me rather than making things up ) 6 hours ago, JBs Left Peg said: England and it’s sportsmen and women are produced and nurtured all over the country not just in a few square miles of London . And what ?....im not particularly interested in the rest of Englands fighters my days of going to gyms around the country are long gone im only really invested in local fighters....wheres the problem ?

Was going to edit my post with something similar, but thought you'd add your reply to wilf before I had a chance to edit it lol. And word it better. Especially the 'transparency' of it all these days. Again, good post. You should have done mate i can be cumbersome with words at times....point is we're on the same page about it as most people who have been through the ages with the sport are. Then I think we all need to see Fury v AJ And although he’s limited technically I’d like to see Joe Joyce get a shot at both Fury and AJ as I like his attributes and he might just give them both a test. Id also like to see Hughie Fury v AJ And Hughie Fury v Dubois The Fury/Joshua extravaganza is gone thats why Fury has offered him the fight he,s watching the man who is still the biggest draw in boxing implode on himself and £££'s go down the toilet.....yes that fight is the biggest draw but for proper fans its Fury/Usyk and only Fury/Usyk. Hughie Fury as a 10 year pro is irrelevant at the moment.....Dubois/Joyce/Whyte yes all have their qualities and a part to play.

A very knowledgable man imo and I like the way he sees the sport and conducts himself . Refreshing to see someone in the game for the right reasons . he was training him like he does hughie fight on the back foot punching terrible like hughie still does hughie struggles to throw a straight punch really look at the fighter tyson as become since going to a knowledgable trainer Edited September 6, 2022 by mC HULL

Another very good boxer and still young for a heavyweight . i can’t see hughie beating any of them 3 he has a good chin to be fair but is a soft hitting human punchbag they just walk through him

Like Fury 5 years or so ago but for different reasons as they are like chalk and cheese not many fancy sharing a ring with Joyce . i rate joyce max think he could trouble most of them

I think you said it before, it’s all repetition and the trick is to try and keep it different and interesting. You have a whole life time and career of knowledge behind you, you can’t teach someone that in, well, a lifetime….what you can do is try and create short cuts for the person or people you are coaching. In order to correct it im trying to understand why i do it i dont know if its over enthusiasm or my expectations are too high....what i do understand though is chatting with other teachers of sport is growing me in the role so much appreciated squire
