He left something in the ring with Mugabi, took a lot of shots in that bout. But, he fought the wrong fight in the early rounds, he gave away those first few rounds and then had to chase it. Leonard was a special fighter though, no doubt about that. He was definitely past his best but Hagler had 3 fights in 3 years through 85/86/87 i think he was the same fighter in all of them he was passed his best in 85 against Hearns but it was his kind of fight,as was the Mugabe fight....short range wars were perfect for him late on in his career......it just wasnt his kind of fight against Leonard....Leonard just knew how to beat him he wasnt going to stand in front of him like Hearns and Mugabe had and he made Hagler look terrible, old and slow......but for me it was the same Hagler as Hearns fought 2 years earlier.....like i say Leonard had a nasty streak to him that wanted to embarrass Hagler......great fighters though and great era for the sport.

Hopefully gets the unification match later this year, should be a cracker! Yokel Yeah this was a cracker on a Wednesday Nyika very game, got some great shots off, but opetaia just too much in the end for him No shame in nyika losing to the better man when in fairness it was too much too soon for him, he he Will come again, but yeah that was a proper scrap that. Berenchyk vs keyshawn Davis has been made aswell, that's a decent fight that is.

Fury made less mistakes in this fight but didn't do enough.
