i rate joyce max think he could trouble most of them

Nothing clever about what he does just brute force and engine......in todays era he will probably go a lot further than that type of limitation would of got him in previous generations thats for sure.

i agree i enjoy watching him though 12 rounds is along time to have someone take everything you throw plus he hits hard enough aswell

and he is a silver medalist aswell you can’t knock him really

klitschko will go down as a great but how many times has he fought a mover that’s bigger then him he couldn’t get his head around it

it was a big deal going to germany and beating the longest reigning champion ever

So he was a great fighter even though he cant beat anyone bigger than him ?

Or he wasnt a great fighter in which case whats the big deal about beating him ?

Which is it you cant have both ?

fury is a natural comfortable as any fighter i’ve seen it’s why he doesn’t gas beacuse he is so calm it’s a trait aj and usyk don’t have

He doesnt gas because he is calm ?....classic.

I dont know why fighters do hill sprints when meditation is out there.

come on gnash i thought you boxed mate ?

you telling me you think conditioning will prevent fatigue ?

joshua trains and is conditioned as much as can be but he is a pusher he will never last as long as someone like fury who is relaxed

it’s the same as running hares the dog that pushed the hare forces it keeps snapping away will blow its self out more than the dog that sits is relaxed and using its head ? regardless of how much condition it has ? that one is for you shaark

I think with most “novice” coaches there’s a tendency to want to make people you are coaching into “you”……I think the trick is to try and make them the best version of “them”……you can then use bits of “you” to patch up the holes in their game.

I use the word “novice” for want of a better word because the fact is, when you coach anything you are “novice” forever because you have to keep learning and developing……much more in fact than when you were a player or a fighter or whatever.

We don’t know what we don’t know, but we have to constantly look at ourselves and measure ourselves.

It keeps the old grey cells working anyway mate

Im not sure im doing that mate what im coaching is a very technical sport there are right ways and wrong ways in much of it......obviously talent and strengths are going to lie in certain areas and weaknesses in others and both need addressing but no i dont think im coaching them to be me in anything other than mindset/determination/spirit if you like....which as you know is very limited by what you can teach anyway......its a funny sport to coach really because in terms of techniques and physicality i am totally confident in the advice im giving..... my " novice " department lies pretty much extensively in the way i communicate that knowledge over to others in a way thats both understandable, enjoyable but not chastising i mean these are grown men most of who are reasonably handy as well theres some tricky atmospheres at times !......teaching is a real test on your people skills isnt it mate....from patience to understanding and back again,in that way its not a bit of me really.... but im trying ?

the highlight of his career is knocking out 40 men on the bounce no one has ever done that have they ? regardless of quality it is still a huge task

You think a fighter knocking out 40 people who cant fight is an achievement worthy of praise......but when Joshua was knocking out world ranked fighters it was a load of rubbish....come on mate decide what shoe fits.

mike tyson 20 before he went to points

forman 8 until he went the distance

shavers 3

?

i pray aj fights wilder it will be comical ?

Well thats it then Wilder is twice the fighter Mike Tyson was.....he must be he had twice as many knock outs !

5 times the fighters George Foreman was.

Have you ever even met Fury ? im sure you could send off for a signed photo or something no ?....maybe that'll bring your infatuation to a conclusion..

14% of players in the premier league are from South London !
Just thought I’d drop that in, reared in what they now call “the cages” and what we used to call “the tarmac” because they had tarmac and brick walls…..it’s Astro and fences now.

f**k off id rather have Hartlepool ?
