Boxing At The Weekend...

He has a Great trainer in his Father?

He trained his nephew to become World Champion.

Just as Enzo trained his son to become a World Champion .

To some folk things like that still mean more than pound notes ?

Never mentioned his trainer Max.

Pro boxing can be a short career and a prospect like Hughie should be fighting on big bills in this country..., that’s just my opinion. Why wouldn’t he want to make same money as other fighters at his level? I mean, he’s 24 and already narrowly lost a world title fight and it barely made the news ffs.

I’m not a massive boxing fan at all

but fury for me is definitely one of british sports best personalities

he takes absolute dogs abuse on Twitter , tarmacing, his weight, aj etc

but when we writes “ im in morecombe arcades if any one fancies a square go? “ suddenly it all goes quiet

as for a j , I still think fury scares him , i literally don’t think he fancies it with the big man

Once you give in and jump to the tune of the powers that be then nothing will ever change.

More Boxers should get trained off who they feel comftable with and be promoted by those they feel comftable with.

Why should a couple of trainers and promotors hold all the cards and use fighters as their cash cow ?

Each to their own 'the sport would be so much better for fight fans and fighters if the corruption was taken out of the game .

Usual crackpot logic Max. Maybe the gravy would love you to manage SAFC what with your passion. They’d need to get used to getting pumped week in week out in non-league football though.

Boxing like football and all other popular TV sports are ruled by broadcasters and big business. I think that’s ripped a lot of the heart out if sport, but make no mistake, the likes of Fury moan about the game only because they’re losing. If Warren had a golden goose that Hearn has in AJ he’d be no different..., in fact I think he’d be worse.

Everything to loose ain't he ' you can't blame him for running scared.

Purely from a business point of view why would he fight him? Big risk for what reward? Once Fury gets his way back up the rankings then fair enough but why take the fight now? IMO Fury doesn't deserve the fight or payday until he has worked himself into a mandatory position.

Personally think Hughie Fury deserves a shot before Tyson.

I schooled him at the local flaps ' he had his first races at the local flapps .

Not all Flapping dogs are curs.

And some of the most knowledgable dog men and trainers were on the Flapps ?

Set myself right up there didn't i folks ?.?

Anyone watching Groves v Smith tomorrow? I fancy it but don't fancy giving ITV £17quid for it. Mainly coz of their association with Eubank snr and how he claimed he was going to make ITV the biggest thing in boxing. Surely a former fighter should want the fighters as the biggest thing in boxing?! Man is a bell, can't stand him.
