I was a gym owner in the east end of London for many years Rusty......so being an ex fighter who knows a lot of local fighters and trainers i frequent the local gyms on a regular basis and have known Joshuas trainer for many years......so it isnt really the most extraordinary situation in the world for a local ex fighter to do a bit of pad work with current local fighter......i mean ok if thats something to get excited about then each to their own but if Cushty wants to book me as a bus conductor from South Shields i honestly dont have a problem with that Fair enough answer must be great doing something you love as your job. For me boxing is a hobby I'd happily train all day every day if I could or at least I think I would. Maybe a few times a week is enough to keep me interested without it sickening me. Did you ever fight professional?Have you had any bouts Rusty? Gnash is a lucky man, doing what he loves for a living, I've been doing a lot of training with a lad who's best mates with the gym owner. He really is living the dream, training lads all day every day, training himself whenever he wants, plenty of sparring whenever he wants and he gets paid a wage from the gym plus his own tidy income from PTs. He does a bit of cleaning around the gym when it's quiet as his way of thanks. But I don't think it gets much better than that. No mate only sparring with folk in the gym and interclub sparring. Going to be off for a while could be upto a year absolute gutted That's a shame mate. Injury or work?
