terryd 8,385
The dog marked this bush yesterday and a rabbit nipped out the bottom so we went back today to do a demo and get the dog a bit of training even though he didn't mark it today. First job was to straighten the net out after a hasty pickup previously. Perfect little spot for a bit of day time maneuvering 6 Quote Link to post

storm323 191
Can't beat a lurcher working with the nets you can't help to feel a spaniel would be more ideal on that type of ground . Quote Link to post
terryd 8,385
Can't beat a lurcher working with the nets you can't help to feel a spaniel would be more ideal on that type of ground . yes very true. I used to work the same bushes with a JR as a kid though I can't imagine him sitting there while I run nets out but saying that I never tried to train him. That venue I just potter about because its unlikely to get one to ground so I don't have to worry about him marking so handy for a summer time rattle about His not at the working with nets stage yet only matter of time before he gets balled up in netting but it will come Edited April 24, 2016 by terryd 1 Quote Link to post
