jiggy 3,209
That picture looks staged to make the birds look efficient in pest control to win people/farmers/ gamekeepers over and id imagine if that ringed bird had a feast like that there would be fur scattered all over twigs and not several clean and sizeable chunks it looks like a tidy buffet or snackbox. 1 Quote Link to post
MickyB 327
Its fake, photo shopped in, not bad though, the giant rabbits gave it away ? and the twigs covering the back foxes leg has bits missing if you zoom in all carcass are placed, cheeky feckers aren't they 1 Quote Link to post

There site is called Cairngorms Nature on FB.They said they also found bits of a roe deer fawn and a red deer calf.More fox cubs were brought to the eyrie before the chick fledged by both parents. Its a long and dangerous climb to the eyrie with a bag of vermin on your back IMO.Edited to add they said they are hares.I don't think they have any agenda its a Nature site. neil cooney 10,416
Good find Liam and to those who doubt what an adult Eagle can kill should educate themselves, besides, it's not the first time dead badgers, foxes and hares have been found in Eyries . A few years ago it was thought that there were Irish hares living in Scotland because of bones found in Eyries but it was discovered that the parents were killing hares in Northern Ireland and flying back to Scotland with them. 7 Quote Link to post
HPR 1,161
Most prob on a rope a camera will way less than two foxes a badger and a few bunnies/hares etc Quote Link to post
