Old pine blanket box I reckon there's 70 to 100 quid to be had on this as it stands if its dovetailed and not rottern looks good from the pictures? that would look really nice with a bit of work on it, i'm surprised it hasn't had a few more bids to be honest,mind you, some people can't see the potential in things unless it's all cleaned up first,

It's a desirable size to not to big like the example I put up ...old Victorian pine isn't what it used to be but still fetches decent dollar there's plenty of people after that rustic look.

nice useful box for a lot of things really, iv'e seen them in kids play rooms for there toys, my sister-in-law used a more modern one to put her logs in, in the front room for the fire, iv'e got a nice sized ottoman at the bottom of my bed for our blankets instead of a blanket box, but i would still find a place for one in a room somewhere,

no good now balls fell out of the pine especialy stripped.i used to bring it to newark fair in the paint yrs ago but its fxxked now,pity as theres loads lying about.

Starting to make a come back I have a mate who makes repro pine and he's never been so busy...that knob Lawrence lewelen Bowen killed it the first time round with his mdf.....Newark was the pine center of the world at one time lol

Yep thatd be it. Lad im talking about was a good un, liked his shooting and ratting but wouldnt come out for a dig. Had some good craic with him though. Good lad, his old fella does good apparently with the pine gear has a few bods working for. Matey done a bit over here but always the same style, even when the client wanted different lol
