ratkilla 35
Here you go lads a few pics of what Me, Kye n F.R have been up to! The two stags streching a coon, better singal handed though. A coon n badger. Check out the badgers teeth We dug to this American badger with two UK lads and a dog bred in the UK. The two Stag bitches bumped into this American badger whilest roading the dogs. To see more hopefully i'll be writing in Earthdog running dog about my trip in the states. Quote Link to post

Guest FOXDOG
Great pics, How do the dogs do on the Badgers singlehanded? Do they take much stick and what are they like as a quarry? Im talking about the Stags Quote Link to post
Chubs 0
top stuff, them american badgers are meant to be iron hard, how did the dig go? Quote Link to post
ratkilla 35
The one to ground was just trying to dig away when we broke through with the terrier locked to the arse end, even when we let the brindle stag bitch pull it out all he wanted to do was dig away he did give a bit to the terrier but nothing much. I don't know why maybe he felt safe in the hole as he'd probly had no bother in the past down there ?. The one the stag bitchs grabed on top was more firey maybe he'd bumped into a few farm dogs and knew the score, but the stags i'd thought would have done a better job single handed as with the two they were pulling it about with the sharpe end being able to get um easyier, The owner would have prefered them to be sliped on it singaly but as we've got a big coarsing trip coming up we didn't want them getting laied up from one badger at the beging of the trip. What i've seen they haven't been a real test, But i can't judge the american badger after just seeing two taken. Quote Link to post
