Guest SJM Posted November 30, 2007 Report Share Posted November 30, 2007 An excellent choice , I have always said if I win the lottery I will buy a house in North Yorks even if its only a holiday home I grew up in a wee place called Clapham nr Keasden, lived there til I was about 8 its on a bleak bit of moor at the top end of the Yorkshire dales national park. My parents bought a derelict old house they got cheap cos someone had been murdered and buried in the garden and they did it up and then got so badly into debt doing it up that we had to move Skipton is a nice area, my brother used to live there, theres lots of cracking little villages around that area, house prices are extortionate though, youse guys should do a wee holiday there and suss the place out as much as you can before you jump in feet first. I hear one man tents can be very cosy in the wintertime especially if you take yer clothes off and both get inside the same sleeping bag Quote Link to post Share on other sites
