Well after being offer this from a friend of a friend me and my uncle couldn't say no and bought this dog in 2 year old and seen a good bit had him out last week or so and been very I'm pressed hunts

The dogs half hound and just over quarter grey ! Will never see the lamp in its life ! Like I said of the mark not very quick but when he gets into his stride he takes over the other lurchers and wh

One mans rubbish is another's treasure as the old saying goes! Plus never chucked a dog from car mid chase ! Come see the ground I hunt then see if you would feed the dog

having seen the terrain in question, these aren't bushing or mooching lurchers - they often need to draw huge areas before knocking one up or finding him in - so nose, stamina, feet and marking ability needed - i can fully understand the need for a drop of hound blood if your lurcher may need to be 2 miles away from you sometimes.

100% mate my plan is keep a line of hound X bull grey going and keep colliebullgrey as my second lurcher will cover everything I need here ! Iv had my colliebullgrey over 3km and can't knock her hunting! seen a few these hound X work lately and this dog I love them ! I could go all day talking about hunting in the day mind lol
. I see where thy coming from good luck with him hunting his in a mans blood and this animal suit the type of hunting you do. A treat good luck with him atb bunnys

dogs perfect for you wales1234 for them valleys over there there is hunting on scent in populated areas of quarry yeah most good lurchers should be able to do it but to find just one thing in a 5 mile radius on an old line takes a little more then then a decent lurcher so dont blame you going down the route of adding more scenting other wise it be a boring walk around the barren lands of the valleys gotta find it before you can catch it

perfectly put mate

Enjoyed the craic ow,don't think folk realise how hard the terrain is to hunt, not like your tripping over rabbits and can do fifty on the lamp with a half cross lol ,watched an 11m old beddy/whip first cross do 17 rabbits first night up in the highlands, dogs catching more in the day than they will see in a full season on the hill.always good to go out and get the numbers,if you get bored of him send him down to me cause I will feed him no problem. See you soon. Atb dc
