scottish lurcher 185
3 points and £100 I would expect fella. Best sticking around 55 through the motorway 50 zones. You get 10% leeway through the average speed cameras, it saves any arguing over accuracy of equipment etc. As for insurance it won't make THAT much difference if you shop around. I've just had 6 points come off and it's hardly come down at all. depends on each place as they don't need to give you 10 percent leeway mate as I got done at 3 mph over limit on camera last month decide to argue case in court and failed so please beware !! Gaz_1989 9,539
I got 3 points for doing 53 in the 50 road works on the m1 they don't f**k about on the motorway some f****r needs too go down that m6/m1 and chop them fuckers down there a load of pished gaz if your bored at work I think the country would be happy for you too take on the jobMy company install the average speed cameras mate ? You could of contested that and probably got it thrown out. Depending when equipment was calibrated and tested etc. Rarely worth the hassle though. If you lose its a massive fine with the court costs. Certainly not worth it for 3 points unless you already have 6/9 points and then maybe worth it. Oh do they...question time then. Once I have seen a red light on the camera lens. Everyone I pass I look and I've never seen the red dot again. Does that mean there active or not? Or is the light f**k all to do with how they work?? Red light is nothing to do with them working or not mate. We don't install dummy average speed cameras. They all work. The red light is signalling comms that's all. They periodically relay the data back. That's how it was explained to me anyway. If you stood sell long enough you would see the red light on them all.

walshie 2,804
Got stopped on Friday speeding and not wearing a seat belt Rebel you lol lol difference is I got let off with a warning he was in a good mood there not all wankers My mrs got pulled over by a traffic car on her way home last night. The policewoman asked her "How fast do you think you were going?" My mrs started to reply but before she could the policewoman said "Flat out. That's how fast you were going." I'm sure a traffic car knew exactly how fast she was going, but after a quick lecture she was sent on her way. As Jim says, not all wankers.
mushroom 13,446
I'm always bouncing lanes and someone once told me that the average speed cameras cannot track you correctly if you have switched lanes. Got done for drink driving; I blew something .5 and because of the point 5 they twats rounded it up so I was over. Even the judge gave the copper a bollocking for wasting time, apologised to me in the court and handed me a 12 month ban Also got done for no insurance. When I broke up with my ex before I moved here the slapper cancelled my insurance policy and didn't tell me. So I was driving along with all my ferreting gear, nets, box, machete, alsorts. I got pulled over, I get's out, has a chat, they told me the craic I went fookin mental, they understood. Asked me if I wanted to get my things from the car I said yes. The copper opened my driver's side door just as the machete fell from behind my drivers seat with the handle pointing out of the door Copper went white lol Luckily he saw the reason someone would be travelling with a foot and a half long machete and a box of ferrets lol
