fireman 11,004
I knew a old hippie once who was looking through the local paper and saw an ad for a RR car for £5,he phoned it up and asked if it was a miss print and after he found out it wasn't he went to view it.The car was at a massive house and a lady answered the door,he was shown into the garage where a perfect 1940's roller was sat(like the one in Darling buds of may that pop larking used to drive) and after asking if it was all just a wind up and finding out it wasn't he bought the car for £5.The story behind it was her husband had died and in his will the car was to be sold and the money given to his misstress,so his wife sold the car and gave the grand sum of £5 to his misstress ..Not everything cheap is a scam but bent landies are big money these days and recon this one won't be a good deal in the long run...

I would like to have a pound for all the similar tales iv been told and read over the years There was one in the news years ago radio presenter had a car (think it was a Nissan) spent fortune on doing it up ,he had some one on to interview possibly a young Jodie marsh ? And he got bit excited started flirting ,his missus got snakey put his car on eBay cheap buy it now ,and sold it. And apperently a few jealous women have took their cheating fellas cars down to those we buy any car type places and sold them for pittance.
