Sounds like you could do with a big nasty dog in your yard pal, to be targetted three times you must be absolutely fuming.

You may think this sounds funny but i know of someone that keeps a couple of geese in his garden along with the fowl and if anyone or anything enters they kick up an awful racket,b*****ds would deafen you, better than any alarm.

Guinea Fowl are great for this too, Jesus the racket they make if any unfamiliar folk are about! :icon_eek:

how would the gleanies be on open grass or are they better in woodland? just a thought as i may be getting a small bit of extra land to free range a few hens on ,were about most of the time and when were are the dogs are about but something a bit vocal is always useful even if its just to give the dogs the heads up (not as they need it lol)

When I had mine they were 1st to let you know mr fox was about. I always new if I heard them something was up or just one had been seperated from the flock. There eggs were spot on but I did eat a couple and they were top draw. Better than chicken. I think there really nice to have around.?

I think maybe lost the thread. Anyhow. David Platt, aka Celtic Lurchers, aka Deerhound Hybrids, aka David Platt, English Game. Somewhere in Leicestershire. Google is the way to go. Can't give any more help but good luck.
